ZIP,ZERO,NADA...NOTHING!

There you go! That title is an update for all the kind people who keep enquiring as to what we know about a site start date, and when it may be happening!! So now you know as much as we know, which, precisely is, NOTHING!!! Aaaarggghh!
The bank is getting anxious about two outstanding pieces of documentation that they require....the Building Permit and a Current Certificate of Insurance from the builder. So they hassle our Broker every other day, who tried to hassle me, (who quickly passed the buck back in PD's direction :-) )....so now my Broker keeps emailing the question over to PD...and is getting no reply! Make sense? No, not to me either!
Simonds seem to be the stand out performer in organisational skills and promptness...they have 4 houses on the go in our stage - all of which are already at frame stage!!
H3nley are close behind - a few blocks that I know are going to have H3nley homes on them have had site scrapes, taps, retaining walls....etc.
No sign of PD out here though. If anyone sees them, tell them I'm looking for them! I want my house!

WELCOME TO 2009

Happy New Year everyone!

No, it's not your hangover playing havoc with your sight, no need to adjust your monitor! I thought that I would start the New Year off afresh with a new look blog...New Year, fresh start, that sort of thing.
Hope everyone had a great night. 5 kids 10 and under meant that ours was pretty quiet...but we had lots of fun having our own private disco in the lounge room.
It's a good feeling to wake up this morning to a New Year and a new start ... I feel ( well hope! ) that this is going to be an exciting year. Who knows...we could start building within weeks!
My New Year's resolution? To build a beautiful new home and see in 2010 with a party in our new alfresco!
Can't wait!
